Last week our Level 1 students took their first field trip to London.
Students worked hard in groups to research some of London’s best fashion retail experiences, including leading concept shop, Dover Street Market, an ‘art gallery of fashion’ with themed floors, installations and pop-ups, and Burberry’s flagship store in Regent Street - ‘a space where the digital world meets the physical’.
Students carried out visual research, investigating store design, promotional campaigns and the use of digital technologies. They also experimented with street style shooting and interviewing target markets. They’ll be using this for their assessed work on the Digital Fashion Practices and Retail Market modules.
